Fawad Chaudhry accuses PPP of spending NFC money on long march

Date:

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has accused the Sindh government of spending the entire National Finance Commission (NFC) award money on PPP’s long march.

“It would be unjustified to complain of not getting the resources by the province after it spent the NFC money on such political activities,” the minister said in a tweet.

He went on to say that people in Sindh will only get their rights if PTI forms the provincial government.

Separately, he also said that the announcement of tabling a bill for creation of South Punjab is a step toward fulfilment of PTI’s promise with people of the area.

“This would be landmark legislation and lead to open new doors of development and improved administration in Punjab,” he added.

The information minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan feels the pain of poor men and has initiated several commendable steps for provision of relief to them.

“Poor and middle class segments of the country are focus of the government’s economic policy,” he reiterated.

Chaudhry Fawad said the opposition does not have the required strength for a no-confidence motion and the government will complete its mandated tenure without any hurdle.
