Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and the PTI team for their overwhelming success in the second phase of local government elections in the province.
In a tweet on Friday, he said people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have emphatically rejected the traitors who sold out to foreign masters.
“This is an early warning to all traitors of what awaits them in their constituencies,” he added.
In a separate message, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had outperformed all the opposition parties in the second phase of K-P’s local bodies election.
“The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam was far behind the PTI in the contest while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was completely wiped out,” he said.
