In a startling revelation, the ruling party’s biggest ally PML-Q have said that the opposition has support of enough lawmakers to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In an interview to a private news channel, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that premier was in ‘trouble’ and the opposition has way more than the required number for the vote of no-confidence.
Criticizing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s governing, the PML-Q leader said that he further complicated things instead of smoothening them out.
“PTI has not only ruined its relationship with other political parties in the past three years but have also created so many rifts within the party itself,” he said.
He went on to add that the government lacks wisdom and understanding.
“Prime minister’s government has reached to this point because of bad advises from his advisors,” he said adding that Imran Khan lacks experience to select the right people for his team.
He further said that Imran Khan is driven by a desire for revenge and said that the premier should think before he speaks.
“He (Imran) has threatened his own MNA’s and political parties with NAB and FIA cases if they decided to switch sides,” he said detailing that NAB has now been asked to open cases against PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi.
Elahi said that the government was no consulting parties which was causing rifts between them and its allies.
Snubbing reports that there were foreign elements involved in a conspiracy against Prime Minister Imran Khan, Elahi said that the government wants to pin blame of its incompetency on others.
He further went on to reveal that no one was supporting the government.
“The government is not making efforts to woo its allies or even speak with its disgruntled leaders which goes on to show how serious they take the situation,” he added.
He urged PTI to call off its D-Chowk rally and this would only lead to further chaos.
