Ahead of the National Assembly session which is to start debating the no-confidence resolution against the prime minister, Imran Khan on Tuesday summoned a National Security Council meeting.
The NSC meeting comes a day after the prime minister shared the contents of a conspiracy letter he received proving the involvement of foreign powers making efforts to topple his government with his allies and a few senior journalists.
The premier had also called for an in-camera session of the parliament today to share the document with other members of the parliament.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has been holding back-to-back meetings with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the ISI Chief Nadeem Anjum.
Speaking to the media, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said the next two days were very important for Pakistani politics.
He also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to address the nation later in the day.
