Polls for Vawda’s vacant Senate seat in Sindh Assembly today


Polling for a Senate general seat will be held in Sindh Assembly on Wednesday.

The seat fell vacant after the Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified PTI leader Faisal Vawda.

ECP disqualified Vawda for life for submitting a false affidavit before the electoral body.

The PTI senator was disqualified by the election watchdog for violating Article 62(1)(f) which pertains to being “sadiq amin“.

MQM-P has already announced to not take part in the voting
